2. WHY ARE WE HERE? AS THE YOUTH OF THIS CHURCH, WE MUST KNOW WHERE WE ARE GOING - SO THIS STRATEGIC MEETING IS COMING UP IN ORDER FOR US TO CHART AND RE-CHART OUR COURSE IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION

3. VISION STATEMENT “…to become a group of young believers with the aim of achieving success in life and attainment of the kingdom of God” WE ALL NEED TO KNOW, IMBIBE AND PRACTICE THIS, IRRESPECTIVE OF WHAT OR WHO WE ARE

4. MISSION STATEMENT Our mission is to “be committed to God, the Word, impacting of lives through evangelism, soul-winning and individual development by preaching the word of, praying to and praising God at all times”

5. ANALYSIS OF MISSION STATEMENT Committed to God (Acknowledging God at all times) – Acts 20:32 Committed to His Word (reading, studying and living by the Word) – Colossians 3: 16 – 17

6. ANALYSIS OF MISSION STATEMENT Evangelism (preaching the word to all people through rural evangelism, outreaches and visit to the home of the needy) Matthew 28: 19 – 20. Individual development (individual growth in all aspects of life affect the general members) – 2 nd Timothy 2: 15

7. ANALYSIS OF MISSION STATEMENT Preaching the Word (while going out to evangelize, we also preach and teach the word of God to the members for our spiritual growth) – 2 nd Timothy 4: 2 Praying to God (praying at all times, with expectation and without ceasing) – Ephesians 6: 18

8. ANALYSIS OF MISSION STATEMENT Praising (we recognize that when we praise we will be raised, so we commit ourselves to praising God for what He has done, He is doing and what He will do in our lives) – Acts 2: 47

9. Truths to note This church is made up of 70% Youths and most activities in the church are organized by the youth – so, we cannot afford to be bench warmers or lukewarm members of the church, for the continuous growth and development of the church, we are all expected to be positive contributors

10. Truth to note None of us should be useless or irrelevant, therefore all hands must be on deck to see to the growth and development of the church. There is no man without ideas, channel your ideas to the proper and right person.
