In your own words, what is the author trying to say? How can you explain each section? Determine the relationship between the different sections How do these pieces fit together? How does the relationship between the sections lend to a singular interpretation of the piece as a whole. Summarize the purposes of the sections together using excerpts from the document to support your claim.
