2 2 Discovery service View service Download service The services can be accessed on Internet, a few extra metadata elements is added A service that operate on spatial data according to themes in the INSPIRE directive The services have additional information to facilitate interoperability The services operate on data that is conformant to IR 1089/2010. Some extra requirements is set on the services, e.g. quality of service

3 Regulation (EU) No 1089/2010 The data has to be conformant to IR 1089/2010 according to the following deadlines; 21-Oct-2015 Newly collected and extensively restructured Annex II and III spatial data sets available 23-Nov-2017 Other Annex I spatial data sets available in accordance with IRs for Annex I 21-Oct-2020 Other Annex II and III spatial data sets available in accordance with IRs for Annex II and III 3

4 Amending Regulation (EU) No 1089/2010, article 14a Not later than 10 December 2015, Member States shall provide the Invocable spatial data services metadata in conformity with the requirements set out in Annex V, i.e. a few extra metadata elements has to be added, such as category, resource locator, specification 4

5 Amending Regulation (EU) No 1089/2010, article 14b The Invocable spatial data services relating to the data contained in at least one conformant spatial data set shall fulfil the interoperability requirements set out in Annexes V and VI and, where practicable, the harmonisation requirements set-out in Annex VII 10-12- 2016 Invocable spatial data services corresponding to newly collected and extensively restructured spatial data sets, will be conformant to requirements for interoperable and harmonised services (see annex V-VII) 10-12- 2021 Invocable spatial data services still in use, will be conformant to requirements for interoperable and harmonised services (see annex V-VII) 5 This deadlines are taken from an e-mail conversation. 6 And a minor issue concerning SDS …. Version of the document The version 3.1 from 17/12/2014 of the Technical Guidance Document for INSPIRE Spatial Data Services is published on the web, but … The date for version 3.1 set in the document is 3/3/2014 6
