Many today are the same as Peter in Lk 22:31-34 They think they are converted but are not Peter said he was ready to follow Christ even to death but later denied him with an oath

CONSTANT IN LORD'S SERVICE – Constantly study God's word Acts 17:11; 1Pet 2:2; 2Tim 2:15 – Constantly worship Heb 10:25; Psa 122:1; 1Cor 11:26; Acts 20:7; Acts 2:42; Eph 5:19; Col 3:16; Acts 2:42; 1Thess 5:17; 1Cor 16:1,2; 2Cor 9:6,7 – Constantly at work for the Lord Jhn 9:4; 1Pet 2:21; Gal 6:9,10; Neh 4:6

CHARGED TO STRENGTHEN BRETHREN – Jesus charged Peter to do this Lk 22:32; Acts 5:29; Acts 2 – Partial conversion is a tragedy – Get out the bad, but never fill our lives with good Matt 12:43-45 – A person partially converted will not be able to strengthen weak brethren.

CONTENT IN LIFE – Material realm Lk 3:14; 1Tim 6:8; Heb 13:5 – Willing to put up with our lot in life when we can't change it Phil 4:11 – Parents tell children: "whatever you do, just be a Christian" serve the Lord on His terms Josh 7:7

When one is truly converted they will be: – Changed by the Gospel in all three areas: faith changed their mind; repentance their practice and baptism their state – These will then be constant in their service to the Lord: Study - Worship - Work – These will be a source of strength and encouragement to their brethren It is not enough to only be changed or constant we must be a source of strength for others demonstrating our contentment in doing so. True conversion exhibits all of these attributes as with Peter when he was converted
