Check Check your answers using the Fractions Number Lines sheet on page 63 of the Student Book. Also check your answers by converting all the fractions to decimals with a calculator. Remember, for example, 2/3 = 2÷3 Write all fractions in decimal form. Which fractions have the same decimal form?

Exit Ticket 1. Write a complete sentence, explaining what “equivalent” means. 2. Give an example of a fraction that is equivalent to ½. 3. In a complete sentence, explain how do you know they are equivalent?

Exit Ticket 2. Compare 4.In two sentences, talk about two fractions that gave you the same dollar amount. Explain why this happened.
