The On-Track Metric for High School Students There are four elements that determine whether a high school student is on-track or not: 1.Coming to School (Attendance) – 90% 2.Getting Good Grades (GPA) – 2.5 3.Success in All Courses – passing all of your courses 4.Discipline- No Suspensions 5.Passing state tests YES on all: On-Track! YES on 4, NO on 1: Slightly off-track YES on 0, 1, 2 or 3 only: Off-track On Track At Risk in 1 of 5 Categories At Risk in 3 of 5 Categories
