Keeping UP We will be covering a large amount of information in a short period of time The goal is to give you a quick background and some fundamental information There will be a lot of reading out side of class from the textbook, a practice that will get you through high school and college, not to mention life!

Project PowerPoint presentation Optional poster project… One topic that we cover or do not cover from the textbook or something you have a personal interest in. Needs to be approved by me Do some research, use the internet Good sources vs. bad sources Use the textbook

Project Presentation needs to be about 8-10 minutes long Translates into 10-15 slides Cover an area of Biology that you find interesting You will present to the class for a grade You will present to the class for a grade 3 sub topics or main points will help you organize your presentation
