The murder rate in Mexico is a 21.5. That number meaning without the murders in Mexico the Mexican population would increase by a rate of 21.5. Although the population keeps increasing the full potential cannot be reached with the murder rate.

Food production in Mexico may be part of the reason for Mexico's exponential growth in population; mostly because there is positive growth in both food production and population. Although, it may be the population affecting food production if your perspective is from a more logical point of view; aside from that, all Mexico has to do is keep on producing food at the same rate and there population will continue to thrive.

Poverty is a huge problem in Mexico with 42% of the population being below the national poverty line. This problem is caused by one or both deficiency areas created by Mexico. The first is social rights, being education, nutrition, and living standards; income is the second area.

Although less than half of the country lives in poverty, population continues to grow.
