2 June 2001 - Idea come during the national Health Care Executive Assistants conference in Baltimore  Edie Everly was the President-Elect of HCEA  ___ Missouri members attended the conference

3 In the Spring 2002 - Edie Everly met with Marc Smith, president of MHA, about starting a personal membership group (PMG) for hospital executive assistants.

4 One assistant from each district was asked to serve on a committee to begin developing MHCEA. District 1 – Edie Everly District 2 – Lori Bell District 3 – Jan Feehan District 4 – Lisa Featherston District 5 – Cathy Molder District 6 – Roxie Davis

5 In March 21, 2003, first executive assistant conference was held in Jefferson City. Vivian Watson was the keynote speaker 65 attendees

6 In April 2, 2004, the second annual conference was held at The Country Club Hotel and Spa in Osage Beach. MHCEA was formalized 78 attendees

7 MHCEA First Board Members Edie Everly – President Lisa Featherston – President-Elect Kelly Walker – District 1 Lorri Bell – District 2 Jan Feehan (Secretary) – District 3 Rhonda Miles – District 4 Cathy Molder – District 5 Roxie Davis – District 6 Karen Busch – At-Large Member Charlotte Sulltrop – At-Large Member

8 In 2005, the district meetings began.

9 In 2006, MHCEA first newsletter

10 In 2007, MHCEA affiliated with AHCAP Over 50 Dual Missouri Members Three AHCAP Presidents have been from Missouri Edie Everly – 2002 Rhonda Miles – 2011 Carol Rose - 2012

11 In 2011, MHCEA created its own Website (MHCEA.com)

12 Today 196 Members 50 Dual AHCAP members 5 standing committees 110 conference attendees
