2 Title/Group/Section,etc. Navy EMS Requirements Fully conforming EMS by Sept 2009 U.S. (by EO) and Overseas (by policy) 18 ISO 14001:2004 elements Conformance Audit to verify Appropriate Facility is conforming when: All 18 elements of ISO 14001:2004 are in place Conformance Audit is complete All findings of nonconformity are resolved Audit Team validates resolution CO signs an EMS Declaration of conformance memorandum Per EO 13423, EMS is to address environmental aspects of energy and transportation functions Leadership, management, and operations addressing specific programs remain Recognize those programs as ones contributing towards meeting the goals and as a source of information for overall reporting.

Commercial subscription service that delivers media-specific and just-in-time job specific environmental compliance training via the web. Modules of 20 minutes or less for practice owners Customize for each installation to meet the Federal, State, and local regulatory requirements as well as location specific information Build Personal Environmental Training Plans
