Sarah had a difficult life do to many things her and her husband William good had to beg for food and shelter. More than half a dozen people testified that she had cursed them. Even her own husband spoke out against her. On July 19, 1692 good was led to Gallows hill to be executed she refused to admit she had done anything wrong. Good's position as a disreputable and marginal member of society made her a perfect candidate for witchcraft accusations. On February 29, 1692, the first warrant was issued for the arrest of Sarah Good, Sarah Osborne, and Tituba Sarah Good http://randy4u. blogspot.com/2 007_10_01_arc hive.html http://randy4u. blogspot.com/2 007_10_01_arc hive.html

In 1670 Bishop’s husband Thomas Oliver accused her of practicing witchcraft and claim she had given her soul to the devil. In 1687 she was once again accused of being a witch this time they questioned her role of a neighbors death. Two men who were hired to make repairs on bishop’s house they testified that they had puppet like dolls with pins stuck into them between walls. Bridget Bishop was the first person to die in the Salem witch trials of 1692. . Bridget Bishop was not a typical woman of the times in dress, manner, or actions and had been persecuted for this in the past. She did not embody the stereotypical role of a submissive wife and this was threatening to the Puritan village. I think people who were in the witch trials was not fair what they did to them because they should of have their own rights back in the day Like we do now. And how badly they treated those people whom claim to be innocent. The people should have respected others wishes and concerns. I would have liked to be treated with a little bit more respected.
