◦ We are a newer library system. We have only been around for 23 years. ◦ 3 locations-1 Main Library and 2 branches ◦ At the end of 2014, we had 375,000 items in our collection. ◦ We circulated 1,528,381 items in 2014. ◦ We serve the 187,999 residents of Clinton and Macomb Townships. ◦ 47,914 of these residents are under 18 (or 25%).

47 K-12 schools in our service area plus 10 additional preschools. We serve 2 entire school districts, plus schools in an additional 3. There are 3 MLIS librarians in these schools.

ConnectED initiative ◦ Implemented in Chippewa Valley Schools over the summer and added 10,000 new cards ◦ Visited 19 CVS events since mid-August ◦ Issued 4 new cards, updated 247, and fixed 400 ◦ Talked to 103 kids, 1056 teens, and 1049 adults about CMPL

Promotion ◦ Teacher eNewsletter ◦ Add pictures of outreach to Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter ◦ Promote use of hash tags at programs and outreach ◦ Add a welcome sign to rotating sign display in lobby for school groups and tours ◦ Marketing among staff too! We’re using SignUpGenius.com to list our events and encourage staff to attend.

Since January 1, 2015, we have gone out to see 7825 people. 1418 people have come into CMPL as a group for tours or training.
