GO = sports ending in –ing, individual or in teams Exceptions: do boxing, do wrestling, do fencing (= fighting sports) PLAY = games with a ball, in teams Exceptions: go/play bowling, play darts (= no ball) DO = all other sports, often exercise activities, sports ending in -ics

12 Rules of the game -There are three rounds in which each player can cast the dice twice. -The number on the dice indicates the question you have to answer. -Use the hourglass for maximum speech time.

13 Round 1 Talk about (one of) your favourite sport(s).
What is the most dangerous sport, according to you? Explain why. Describe a sport without mentioning its name. The others guess what you mean. Think of an expensive sport and a cheap one. Why is it so expensive (or cheap)? Talk about a sport you’d like to learn if you had the time, the money, the physical condition… Team sports or individual? Give examples and explain which you prefer.

14 Round 2 Which sport(s) do you hate? Explain why.
What are ‘extreme’ sports, according to you? Give a few examples. What is/are the most popular sport(s) in your country? Which sports are good for watching? Do you like watching them? Think of as many sports as possible that you can play/do with two. Which sports can be played by any age group?

15 Round 3 Try to find as many sports in/on the water as possible. Do you like them? Think of as many ball sports as possible. Which do you prefer and why? Enumerate all the team sports you can think of. Which one do you like most? Do you know any sports with animals? How many fighting sports can you name? What are typical outdoor/indoor sports?
