Specialty School Options Certification: Authorization stating that one has fulfilled requirements to work in a certain field or career. Professional and Trade Organizations Group or association dedicated to a specific trade or profession. Provide valuable resources to the industry and its members. Hospitality and Tourism Organizations: – American Hotel and Motel Association – American Society of Travel Agents – American Tour Association – Cruise Lines International Association – International Association of Culinary Professionals

On-the-Job Training Apprenticeship: educational, hands-on experience working at a business with an experienced employee. May be paid or unpaid. Many businesses in the hospitality and tourism industry offer hands-on training.
