 Basically, Architects design, build, and or supervise the construction of buildings.  The building that they build must be safe and follow all of the laws and regulations, that is why sometimes it can take a little longer then usual.  I am interested in it because ever since I was a kid, I always loved to draw and design things. That is why I thought this would be a good career for me.

 You must be the following: Creative, Hard-working, Good with collaborating, Have patience, and you have to be able to express your ideas with others.  Architects design housing and marketable structures, of course, but their everyday jobs don't end there. An architect must also ponder about a building’s fashion, safety and sustainability to ensure it meets the needs of its occupants as well as the requirements of state and federal regulators. Architects work with both administration agencies and private patrons. Architects don’t have it easy…  Depending on what type of Architect you would like to be, the salaries vary. I would like to be a Software Architect, which earn around $121,200 a year. Which is pretty good in my eyes.

 Obtain a high school diploma. Efficient Math skills are KEY in this type of job.  Earn a college degree. In a field such as engineering software.  Lastly, earn your certificate, then you are on your way to being an architect.  Architects must follow building codes, fire regulations and zoning laws when creating their plans. For public buildings, architects must be aware of the disabled access laws. Since laws change daily, they must stay up to date with all of the current laws.

 This lifestyle lets me do all of the things I will want in life. A happy life with enough money to purchase of the things I will ever want in life. Making $121,200 a year really lets me have a lot of possibilities in my days.  In this job, you probably wont move much since you do all of the work on computers, except for the part where you have to make prototypes and things like that. But still, I will probably not need to relocate for this job. Since people will always need architectures to help design and build things, this is the perfect job for me. I also really love math so I would really like to do this job when I am older.  My Interest Area for this job would most likely fall under Architecture/Construction, since the work you do is mostly based off of designing.

 A skilled worker who makes, finishes, and repairs wooden objects and structures. Like I said before, I’ve always liked building things since I was little, and I think this would also be another great job for me to have.  You must be familiar with tools and other sorts of equipment to be able to have this job. Carpenters usually worked with ordinary wood and did the harder work such as framing. But today many other materials are also used and sometimes the better-quality trades of cabinetmaking and furniture building are considered carpentry.

 To be able to have this job, you must be hard-working, loyal, strength, stamina, focus, and be willing to do anything. Carpenters use the blue-prints from Architects to build the house. So both of the jobs I have picked so far, help one another. It’d be quite cool to see the building process from both angles.  You are responsible for your own task, like say I told you to build the bathroom walls, then it would be your responsibility to do that task. There are also many other responsibilities when becoming a Carpenter. You have a big job to do if you chose to be a carpenter.  The working hours can vary depending on whoever runs the operation. You could be working till 3 a.m. if the boss tells you so. But the more hours = the more $.  For this job, people will always need them to construct and build things for them all over the world. So this would also be a great job to have.

 Step 1: Complete an Apprenticeship (Which can take 3-4 years to complete)  Step 2: Consider Postsecondary Education (Try to earn additional experience, like earning a diploma in the field so you can be ranked higher up)  After those steps, you may apply to be a Carpenter. Some may also choose to pursue a 2-year degree program in carpentry. (like step #2)  Carpenters usually earn any ware around $26,898 - $69,515, depending on there role.

 This lifestyle is most likely uncomfortable because you would be all over the place building things. Also, you would be hurting by the end of the day.  But the bright side is you will gain muscle and be able to have to ability to build things and fix things on the go. I’ve also really loved to build things my whole life and I feel this would be a good job for me.  Even though you don’t earn much, you still get to learn a lot and be able to have that trait for the rest of your life.  I feel this Career Cluster would fall under Architecture/Construction.
