8. Activity:Sink or Float? 1. Your group has been given 5 unique items. Make a prediction if each item will sink or float in a bin of fresh water. Record your predictions in Data Table #1. 2. Make a prediction if each item will sink or float in a bin of salt water. Write it in data table #2 on the next page. 3. After you have made your predictions, bring your items to the TEST AREA. 4. Test the five items (one at a time) in the bin of water. Observe what happens and record your findings in data table 1. Be specific about how each item sinks or floats. (fast, slow, etc)
