2 UTSA – Pooling Rules What is Pooling? Every subaccount in a budget group is assigned to a budget pool Accounts are pooled together if there are no transfer restrictions between them. The available balance of the accounts in the budget pool are added together to calculate the pool balance. To process a transaction, it is the pool balance and not the available balance of the account that determines if sufficient funds are available. What is Pooling?
