2. 1563- William lee invented the stocking frame it’s a device for knitting stocking. 1709- Abraham Darby uses coke to smelt iron, replacing wood as fuel. 1733- john Kay's flying shuttle. 1787- Cartwright builds a power loom. 1700s- it started Mid 1800s- it ended Time line of the industrial revolution

3. It started in Britain in the 18 th and 19 th century. It spread though Europe, north America and beyond.

4.  All across of England the recent turn of the century has gone largely unnoticed.
