3 Baker A baker is someone who makes, bakes and sells breads, rolls, biscuits or cookies.

4 Chef A chef is a person who is a highly skilled professional cook who is proficient in all aspects of food preparation.

5 RESTAURANT OWNER A restaurant is a business which prepares and serves food and drinks to customers in exchange for money, either paid before the meal, after the meal,

6 In the beauty industry, a cosmetologist is more than just a hairstylist - they are people on the cutting edge of trends and styles in hair and beauty techniques, and they can transform their clients from simple to spectacular in a single sitting. Cosmetologists, also sometimes called “beauticians,” aren’t limited just to hairstyling. Their job description might also involve doing manicures, pedicures and nail services, and even the basics of applying makeup for customers. Cosmetologist

7 RETAIL Retail is the process of selling consumer goods and/or services to customers through multiple channels of distribution to earn a profit.

8 Carpenter Carpentry is a skilled trade in which the primary work performed is the cutting, shaping and installation of building materials during the construction of buildings. Formal training in the carpentry trade is available in seminars, certificate programs, high school programs, online classes and associate degree programs.

9 Doctor It typically takes from 11 to 16 years to complete your education, including four years of college, four years of medical school and anywhere from three to eight years of training in a specific specialty area (residency training), depending on which specialty you choose. The fields of specialties are too many to list.

10 Emergency Medical Technician An EMT, also known as an EMT-Basic, cares for patients at the scene of an incident and while taking patients by ambulance to a hospital.

11 Nurse *Nurses that work at schools provide care for children who might be hurt or need medicines, they also keep up with required immunization. *Nurses that work at a hospital take care of sick or injured people by making them comfortable, providing their medicines, and they communicate with doctors. *Nurses that work at doctor offices take patient’s temperature, they check their patient’s blood pressure and assisting the doctor with the care of the patient.

12 Pharmacist They read about new medicines. They also count pills, weigh medicines, and measure liquid medicines. They label medicine bottles. A pharmacist fills your prescription. They wear a white shirt and white pants.

13 Teacher Teachers help others people how to learn. Teachers teach us a lot of subjects like math, since, reading, writing and so many more. Teachers have so many tools like a textbook, pointer, pencils and so much more.

14 Veterinarian Veterinarians, also called doctors of veterinary medicine, they treat animal injuries and diseases. They immunize healthy animals against disease and inspect animals and meat products to be used as food. Veterinarians also perform surgery, set broken bones, establish diet and exercise routines, and prescribe medicines for animals. Some veterinarians specialize on small animal treatment

15 Large-animal veterinarians are employed by farms, ranches, and even zoos. Small- animal veterinarians usually have private practices and treat dogs, cats, birds and any small animal.

16 Zoo Keeper Zoo keepers keep animals safe and healthy at the zoo. They clean up the animals’ areas. They feed the animals and give them water. Most zoo keepers wear uniforms. Most zoo keepers wear protective clothing, so the animals do not bite them.

17 They work to keep the townspeople safe. They stop fights. They catch criminals. They wear uniforms, nametags, and a bullet proof vest. They carry guns, handcuffs, pagers, notebooks, pens, and telephones. They investigate crimes. They take reports. They give speeding tickets. They put bad people in jail. Police Officer

18 Plumber Plumbers put pipes in buildings. Plumbers put sinks, toilets, and bathtubs. Plumbers fix pipes that leak.

19 Grounds Keepers A groundskeeper is a person who provides many professional services such as landscaping, lawn care and maintenance also takes care of gardens or sporting venues. A groundskeeper loves the outdoors and caring for the environment.

20 Construction Worker Construction workers work outside they may perform the following tasks: unload, carry and stack building materials and place tools and equipment in position. They dig trenches using hand tools or jackhammers to break up rock and concrete, so that footings and services can be laid. They can also work at building highways, roads and building houses.
