Teamwork is based on the belief that the collective effort of the whole is often stronger than any single individual could achieve working alone. Humans are hard wired to help others – it’s in our DNA You will have success if you ask for help instead of just telling someone to do a certain task When you delegate something to one of the team you must ensure that they have a clear understanding of your intent and end result Follow up to ensure that all is going as it should or if something has changed or they need help Ensure that you acknowledge that person’s contribution – a thank you is such a simple thing but is most often overlooked Delegation
