4. What to pack....? Layers A waterproof coat (wear onto plane to save space) Gloves, hat Warm, comfortable, waterproof shoes (a single pair!) Evening wear? Hairdryers/straighteners (preferably not!!!!) Travel size toiletries (good stocking fillers!!!!)

5. Currency and spending money Swiss francs are best (CHF) NOT Euros Meals Thursday breakfast (on plane/in airport-£7 max) and lunch (delivered to hotel). COST: 10 CHF. Cash. Evening meal included. Friday lunch (at CERN-cash required) and dinner (Mc. Donalds/Wok Place). COST: 15-19 CHF Saturday lunch (Starbucks/patisserie/sandwich in old town) and teatime (in airport) - 20 - 30 CHF Money in envelopes with name and day Souvenirs are expensive!
