Assessment Tool Assessment Tool bridges the gap between Formative Assessment and Study Center with full Classroom Integration Auto grading allows grades to flow right back to Gradebook when the student takes the test online. Item bank are aligned to standards (state/national) Teachers can create their own items, passages, images Teachers can analyze student performance

Formative Assessments Can be assigned to the class by the teacher via a graded item/activity Can be assigned to a student group(s) by an ADMIN user

Complete any necessary Setup: o Create Item bank(s) needed for item bank setup. Attach subjects to banks if needed. o Create Passage bank(s) needed for items. o Create images needed for items Create Assessment Attach Items/Passages to assessment o Align to grade level, subject, standards Assign test to students o By section or by student group o Online or printed format Score tests o Online – scored automatically and can be ‘accepted’ into the gradebook item/activity o Paper – manual scored and entered into gradebook Assessment Workflow

Student selects the Assessment Icon to launch the Online Assessment

The assessment is loaded and the student clicks Start when ready

The items (questions) display for the student to answer and submit a response

When all items are submitted, the test is completed and the student will save the test

Retrieving Student Test Scores Click View Student Scores Display

Click the score to override the auto- graded score

After the teacher reviews the test scores, they can either accept or decline the results. When the teacher clicks Accept, the class average and number of tests graded are updated. The auto-graded score will always display below the student’s assessment icon
