Why is trust important with Journalism? Stories/articles are being broadcasted where people go to obtain information An audience needs to know that the news is accurate and not biased.

How would a journalist gain an audience? pitch a relevant story make it easy to find the info keep it short and smart avoid overkill respect your readers build a relationship offer free stuff follow up keep trying

How does a journalist know their sources are reliable? read all the material about the source are there any contradictions? what impression do they make? Vague ? Blustery ? Earnest ? Slick ?
