How many beaches is enough? We ask that you include a limit in your plans. La Jolla Cove has 2 sea lion colonies now. Over 100 Sea Lions. Twice what it was 2 years ago. La Jolla Cove Swim Club board voted to support alternate beach management plans because they see what is going to happen.

False Authorities at South Casa In the last couple winters, seals have wandered on to South Casa Beach No time was lost carving lines in the sand to exclude the public With a blue shirt uniform and authoritative stance, they control their territory They assume the role of Municipal Officers

2007, South Casa, Joint Use worked there just fine.

2009, stake out the territory

Who has closed half a beach for 2 seals? By what authority?

The Blue Meanies guard their barrier. One day South Casa will be theirs too

Don’t get us wrong If San Diego wants to use volunteer enforcers to capture new beaches for seal viewing - Then do it by law. We can’t stop you. Don’t do it with surrogates. Do it to us yourselves. Up front. We like seals, as wild animals, not exploited for donations and territory.

Don’t get us wrong Nobody is anti-seal We enjoy them and know more about them than anybody We only want to lawfully go on public land and share the beach with all creatures. No seal has ever been harmed by people at Children’s Pool.
