AUS Research Project 2013 The questions: Whether student participation in sport at university (including social, recreational and competitive sport) affect the student’s sense of wellbeing, connection to place and if this translates to higher retention and graduation rates; and Does a correlation exist between employability, high achieving professionals and their sporting activities whilst they were at university? Benchmarking Project Lobbying for the support of sport at campus, state and national levels is increasingly dependent upon accountability, good governance* and the ability to capture key information about investment and return. With the help of The Centre for Tourism and Leisure Management (CERM), GO8 Universities (and Martin Doulton’s presentation today) we aim to make big strides in respect to industry benchmarking this year.
