1. Sponges among us Thomas was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma in August 2004 when he was 18 months old. He started treatment at UCSF. Aggressive protocol - 6 rounds of chemo, resection, stem cell transplant, then radiation Thomas and Logan - August 2004

8. We began tracking progress/problems.... Transferred to PICU for 30 hours, then after 3 days…...

9. We found the cause after correct counts, xrays and lots of strife

10. Dec 23, before removal - The lap sponge was making him extremely sick

11. Feeling Better - 24 Dec - Discharged Home on 28 Dec We let him remove his own NG

12. In February 2005 Thomas spent the month having a stem cell transplant. Thomas is now enjoying Kindergarten - he’ll be turning 6 in February 2009.
