Employee Commissions Supported Commission Structures Single and Tiered Rates Commissions based on: $ per case $ per CE % of revenue Commissionable Employees Driver Preseller Area, Account, District Manager Vending

Employee Commissions Records > Employee > Commissions Setup: Item Groups Employee Groups Rates Overrides Calculate Calculated Commissions

Employee Commissions – Item Groups Item Groups are used to categorize products into different buckets that are used when assigning commission rates Item Groups are individually assigned to product records. Since a product can only have one item group you will want to break up the items into the most detail necessary by warehouse.

Employee Commissions – Employee Groups You can have as many employee groups as you want, however, an employee can only be assigned to one group at a time. Employee groups are individually assigned to employee records on the More panel. You are not required to have an employee group for every employee or route unless they require different rates.

Employee Commissions - Rates When commissions are initially setup you will need to specify the rates for every employee/item commission group combination. When rates are changed an effective date is specified and you only need to make changes to the rates that are being changed. Rates can be a specified value calculated on the rate basis or they can be tiered with multiple rate values based on a minimum amount for the rate basis

Employee Commissions – Managing exceptions Prior to calculating your commissions you may have certain exceptions that you need to account for: Incorrect commission overrides Reassigning credit for sale/delivery due to absence The Commission override screen allows you to change or set the commission override employee for a sale or delivery on a single day or range of dates.

Employee Commissions – Calculate Commissions are calculated for Salespeople or Drivers separately. You can also calculate commissions for a single employee. After calculating the commissions, the results can be reviewed in detail prior to posting. Once Commissions are posted for an order they cannot be recomputed.
