Introduction  A safe and healthy workplace is very important either to employer or employees.  This is because a safe and healthy workplace will lead to the successful of the organization.  Nowadays, there are so many accidents happen in the workplace.  The employer and also employees should take precaution to maintain their safe and health in the workplace.

4. Definition Safety The condition of being free from harm or risk.(Merriam-Webster) Security The quality or state of being free from danger. Healthy A state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. Workplace health and safety (WHS) is an area concerned with the safety, health and welfare of people engaged in work or employment.

Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)  Assure safe and healthful working conditions for working men and women by setting and enforcing standards and by providing training, outreach, education and assistance.  In Malaysia, this act established in 1994.  This act provide legislative framework to secure the safety and healthy and also welfare among Malaysian workers.  It also promote, stimulate the higher standard of safety and healthy.
