The Result of the Survey Group 2 Group Member: 胡炜炫、欧静波、黄淇欣、 万淑婷、余妍琳、李瑞玲

We conducted a survey among the students in different Grades in SCNU about what elements affect them on employment and what their expectation on the company they work for. The survey contains 16 questions, which also includes some opinions and suggestions from the students in SCNU. Preface

Plan on Employment 目 录 From the chart, we can know that there is 51.02% students having make a employment plan. But there are still 48.98% students without plans.

Result The employment cannot satisfy the relative profession students is the most important elements. The next one is that graduates’ requirements on the salary is too high. Besides, the lack of social relationships is also an important elements, which account for 60%.

The problem they face in employment. Among this five choices, the unfair phenomenon is the major problem that the graduates are facing, which accounts for 43.43%. Then the next one is the total decreasing supply of the employees.

How do they get some working experience? According to the survey, most of the students via the practices in the sociality and the associations in school to get the working experience.

Income level We can know that most of them want to have a well-paid job. The normally range is between 2000yuan to 4000yuan.

Incentive measures The performance salary reward and promotion are the most popular measures among college students.

Welfare Many students prefer insurance, paid holiday, pension plan and other welfare.

Train and Promotion system

Performance appraisal As for performance appraisal, students prefer free-form essay and rating scale.

Job Security 90% of them pay much attention on the job security.

Shortcoming on Yourself These are some of the shortcomings they think they need to improve, such as experience, communicating skills and professional knowledge.

Opinions from students The government should take effective measures. We should know our limitations and be enthusiastic to work. There should be no prejudice on different positions Seize every chance to train ourselves and improve our own abilities. We should know our limitations and be enthusiastic to work. Try your best to deal with the interpersonal relationship, and adopt a correct attitude toward everything we deal with. Establish our own career.

There are 51 males and 49 females took part in the survey. Besides, 38 students grow up in rural region and 62 grow up in urban region. Last but not least,41 are freshmen,22 are sophomore,20 are junior, and 17 are senior.

Summary From that survey, in the aspect of human resources management, we find that students in SCNU, they prefer motivating factors, which can date back to Herzberg’s Two-factor Theory. Because of the different value, they prefer different incentive programs and fringe benefits. But one thing in common, they both think the social relationships is an very important elements, except the narrow conditions of professional.
