Test @ 156 542 cm 150 cm The Al foil is large as the M3 wall we can put 1 raw (5 chambers) or 2 raws There is an insulating material (varnish) on the wall buy an Al foil to be put on

Test @ 156 Al sheets, Copper braids, Balconies, clamps installed. Thanks to Stas, Pavel & Pavel

Number of HV cables (LHCb muon type): 5; LNF (Paolo) Assuming that 1 HV channel supplies 4 gaps in parallel, the number of CAEN channels 5; We’ll move the existing HV system close to mockup, use two dedicated patch panels providing both 1x4 and 4x4 connections (one CAEN channel per gap, if needed); CERN, PNPI (Anatoli + Petr) Front-end boards: number of SPB boards: 32 cathode and 12 wire type (704 resistors must be replaced @ CERN Burkhard), i.e. all chambers mentioned above must be fully dressed forever); CERN Number of CARDIAC boards: 32 positive and 12 negative type; Cagliari (Walter) (150 Positive coming to CERN Walter ; 12 Neg. already @ CERN) Number of LV cables: 8; LNF (Paolo) Final LV power supply (total current 22A) + Software ; Frascati (Paolo + Michela) Number of LVDS output cables: 44; CERN (Burkhard) Number of I2C cables: 8; CERN (Burkhard) Number of ACQ modules (used as external counters): 7; Roma2 (Andre’) Cables adapters to connect standard LVDS cable from CARDIAC to ACQ: 28; CERN (Anatoli) Software: must show 'panoramic’ (cosmics) view without (exist) and with cabling (Rafael,Andre’) EMI antenna has to be improved: the best case to simulate LHC-clock spectrum; CERN, PNPI Gas mixture lines (with distributor); Emiliano

Maraton sent to CERN (Paolo) One LV board arrived at CERN (Michela) Status of control SW ? (Michela) HV+LV Cables ordered (Paolo) ACQ BOARDS : From Andre’ : I investigated the possibility to get more ACQs for the Test at Building 156- CERN. We have 1 ACQ already available and tested, others 3 have to be fixed and will be available into about 2 weeks. Then Roma2 can provide 4 extra ACQs to the CERN Test, which sum 7 if we include the ones already installed in the Test station. Any other ACQ will be difficult to provide(but not impossible).

SPBs: new resistors tested by Nikolay: Dear gentlemen, I spent more time to continue sparkling these resistors. conditions the same (3KV, 680pF); setup the same. #res. initial resistance sparkles final resistance 1 8.2 Ohm 200000 8.2 Ohm 2 8.2 Ohm 120000 8.2 Ohm 3 8.2 Ohm 40000 8.2 Ohm 4 8.2 Ohm 420000 8.2 Ohm 5 8.2 Ohm 320000 8.2 Ohm 6 8.2 Ohm 360000 8.2 Ohm I think that it is enough measurements to understand that this type of resistors is good for our chambers. Best regards, Nikolay
