Group Membership No more than 4 persons per each group A group with 4 persons is acceptable. A group with 3 people is highly suggested. 2 persons in a group are okay. If you want to work alone, that's okay, too. Authority: Like a real life, if any of the group members does not work hard for the project, you group has the full authority to fire the freeloader. You do not need the instructor’s permission for the personnel decision-making. Simply, you group will exclude the slacker’s name on the project deliverables. Responsibility: Your group will take full responsibility for the project deliverables. Blaming & complaining other group member(s) at the end of semester will not be appreciated because you could have fired the lazybones in the middle of semester.

Submission Guidelines Written Report Format: – Follow the class template. Document: MS-Word (2010 or earlier version only) Data: MS-Excel (2010 or earlier version only), or SPSS Presentation: MS-PowerPoint (2010 or earlier version only) E-mail Attachment: clee4@lssu.edu Late Submission: 10% point reduction per each hour delay. 10 hour delay means zero (0) points for the project.

Tentative Title Tentative Narrowing Down: As you conduct the literature review, you will learn to narrow down the topic area. Example of narrowing down a topic: “Factors Affecting Efficiency” Factors Affecting Efficiency in the Small & Medium Enterprises (SME) Factors Affecting Efficiency in the Not-for-profit SME Factors Affecting Efficiency in the Not-for-profit SME in the Midwest Effects of HR Management Innovation on Efficiency in the Not-for-profit SME in the Midwest

Purpose of Project Write the purpose(s) of this group project. Here, your group presents an objective(s) of this project. 1 or 2 Paragraphs Example: The purpose of this project is to analyze the impacts of human resources management (HRM) innovations on organizational efficiency in a SME in the service industry, using the business analytics.

Reason for Project 1. Paragraph 1 – Importance of the topic 2. Paragraph 2 – Lack of research on this topic

Project Plan 1. Data: – Describe what kind of (sample) data your group is going to collect: Variables, Industry, Company, etc. – Also, state how you plan to collect such data: questionnaire, secondary data, etc. – Be specific. – While discussing about the data issue, your group can realize that a certain topic sounds great, but hard to collect the sample data. Then, you need to change the topic. 2. Analytics: – Multiple Regression Model
