11
Strengths › Strong brand image It is a worldwide known business and everyone knows about it › Top market position They have one of the highest position in the stock › Strong financial position It does very well financially because so many people are part of AT&T
12
Weakness’ › Lack of content They do not have enough to supply › Geographic concentration They don’t have enough towers › Poor reception and service They need more towers
13
Opportunities › Expanding U-verse fiber network It will be able to expand making it more profitable › Investments in global networks for business services It invests in other networks so that will decrease their competition and increase sales › Acquirements They get more buisness
14
Threats › Intense competition There are other cell phone companies such as Verizon › Circulation in the wireless market People are always changing their cell phones › Government regulations Government only allows so much for wireless companies
15
I would probably not buy the stock right now because it is almost at the yearly high. I would rather buy when it is lower so then I could not lose as much or make more money.
16
Personally I would not use AT&T because I think Verizon is better, it gets better coverage. AT&T is not really a cell phone carrier that a lot of people do not use and it was stated that they do not get very good service.
