1. What is an Ecoschool? A place where we (students, teachers, parents and others) work together to learn about the environment and to take action.

2. What do we do at Morse?  We gather information.  Then we set our goals.

3. What do we do at Morse?  We grow food and tend to animals all year round in our science room.

4. What do we do at Morse?  We transplant our herbs and vegetables into the Gang Green garden.

5. What do we do at Morse?  We recycle batteries, so that we can keep our soil and water clean.

6. What do we do at Morse?  We beautify our school grounds with the 500 daffodils donated by parent council.

7. What do we do at Morse?  We turn out the lights, or use fewer when we can.

8. What do we do at Morse?  We bring litterless lunches to school. We use tupperware and lunch bags that can be used again and again.

9. What did we accomplish?  Together we have earned a Silver Ecoschools certification! Well done!

10. How do we feel about it?  Happy.

14. What’s next? You decide!  Each class will choose representatives to attend ecoschool meetings.
