3. Number 1 & 5 - You are charged with the harmful moving of addictive substance’s across a countries borders. Defend your introduction of alcohol into America. Number 2 & 6 - You are charged with animal abuse because of your introduction of chickens and cows to America has them being kept in cages and slaughtered. Number 3 & 7 - You are charged with murder because your introduction of smallpox America caused the death of 60% of the native population. Defend yourself against the murder charges. Number 4 & 8 You are charged with possessing and trading a dangerous weapon. Defend your introduction of guns into America.

4. Directions In your groups come up with a defense about how your are innocent from what you brought. One person or the whole group will present their argument to the class, and the class will vote guilty or not guilty.

5. Form a good argument, you need to persuade people listening that you are innocent with not only facts but even bending the truth. Imagine you are actually on trial and you are facing at least 10 years in jail. You will be judged on your arguments. At the end use a closing argument to wrap up.
