Governments Around the World Objective: The learner will discover the similarities and differences between current governments of various countries around the world. Materials Needed: Social Studies text book this packet to be completed as instructed colored pencils scissors glue Optional Materials: poster board construction paper markers Presentation Options: poster board flip book PowerPoint presentation Check with Mrs. Sekula if you have any other presentation ideas. Grading Rubric: This is a 360 point project. All point values are described below. 12 countries +2pts each blank of information +5pts each flag +5pts each label/color world map Title: +10pts (with 1 st & last names, and class period) Sprinkles: +10pts Possible Point Deductions: -1-20pts for errors in spelling, capitalization, or punctuation -1-10pts no color -1-10pts neatness -10pts per day after due date DUE DATE: WED. 11/02 Project Tutorial Dates: Wednesday 10/26 8:05am Thursday 10/27 8:05am Monday 10/31 8:05am **Tutorial dates are for specific questions about your project.
