Policy Research and Innovation Research and Innovation (4) Communication activities Online library: joint RIO and PSF website first version in 2015 continuous development to add data, studies, update on the PSF results Subject or country-specific workshops 1-2 days meeting of 10-20 participants actively exchanging ideas, experience and knowledge on specific issues Conferences on EU policy-making trends forum for R&I stakeholders (policy makers, researchers or innovators) to debate the latest R&I policy challenges Dissemination activities supporting PSF services newsletters, press/stakeholder conferences, case studies etc.

Policy Research and Innovation Research and Innovation H2020 PSF - Start up phase in 2015 January –October 2015: Peer Review of the Bulgarian R&I system: feedback mission of Commissioner and panel to Sofia on 8 October 2015 Pre-Peer Review of the Hungarian R&I system: finalised in October 2015 Mutual Learning on Business R&I: first stage finalised end of June 2015 Preparation of the launch of the RIO/PSF website: release in Autumn 2015 2nd expression of interest for PSF services via ERAC (24 July 2015) which serves for planning of the next PSF activities

Policy Research and Innovation Research and Innovation How the H2020 PSF works in practice Member States/Associated Countries request support: Bi-annual expression of interest via ERAC Spontaneous requests Commission (RTD) assesses requests: Commission support for design/scoping of the service Invites government peers & high-level experts Experts/Service provider undertake the supporting tasks: Analysis, drafting, organisation, translation, communication Engage independent experts, support to peers and peer reviewed country
