In review tab you can deal with text reductions, edit options spell check, translate text, and quickly research on the web or within Word editor's comments and markups and protect you documents. Mini toolbar offers a group of the more commonly used commands that you probably want to use. If you are working on a different tab and don't want to switch to the Home tab to perform font related tasks, you can do so by using this mini toolbar. Bullets & Numbering There are numbered lists and there are bulleted lists. If you have a sequence of information, a numbered list is essential. If you're not worried about sequence, a bulleted list might be better. Text Style By using Style menu you can change your titles, headings’ formats easily. In style section there are several different heading types. You are not only using their built in styles but also you can create and save a new heading style by using Style menu. Style BEGIN TO WRITE A DOCUMENT

MAKING A DOCUMENT MORE VISUAL Insert Anything... Insert Tab You have written several pages text but your document is still incomplete. To make a better document you may add some visual object to your document. Insert ribbon displays commands for inserting different elements into your Word document.

Header & Footer Headers and footers are areas in the top, bottom, and side margins of each page in a document. You can add page numbers, the time and date, a company logo, the document title or file name, or the author's name to the headers and footers. NOTE: Header & Footer will be shown on every page. Insert Ribbon Groups The Text section of the Word 2010 Insert Ribbon provides options for working with clip art and drop caps. You can also insert Quick Parts, text boxes and signature line. Insert Ribbon Groups Symbols section help you to insert symbols (€,¥,µ,π,∞ and etc..) and equations in to your document. Insert Tab – Symbol Group If you want to insert a shape, picture, clip art, chart, SmartArt and Screenshot objects into your document, you can use Illustrations group. Insert Picture From File Insert Picture dialog box To insert a picture from file, please follow the instructions; Click where you want to insert the picture. On the Insert tab, in the Illustrations group, click Picture. (It opens the Insert Picture dialog box) In this dialog box, locate the picture that you want to insert. View Ribbon In word Office 2010 there are several document views. You can change document view quickly and easily by using view tab. DOCUMENTATION TECHNIQUES Document Views Default view of a word document is “Print Layout”
