Faith Wavered & Sank Into Sea (Matt. 14:30) Shamefully Denied Jesus (Matt. 26:69) Exposed for Hypocrisy (Gal. 2:11-14) Beaten & Jailed (Acts 4:3; 5:40) Watched Close Friend Executed (Acts 12:2) Under Same Sentence of Death (Acts 12:3) 1 Peter 5:8-10 - Through It All, He Still Kept Going!

4. Paul Didn’t Quit! Stoned & Left for Dead (Acts 14:19) Beaten & Jailed in Philippi (Acts 16:23) Persecuted Repeatedly (Acts 17:5-13) Suffered Beyond Comprehension (2 Cor. 11:22ff) Endured Thorn in the Flesh (2 Cor. 12:7-10) 2 Tim. 4:6-8 – He Never Gave Up!

5. John Mark Didn’t Quit! Turned Back In Pamphylia (Acts 15:38) Paul Lost Confidence In Him He Didn’t Quit:  Went With Barnabas (Acts 15:39)  Gained Respect of Paul (2 Tim. 4:11)  A Help To Peter In Babylon (1 Pet. 5:13)

6. Some Did Quit!  Demas Quit (2 Tim. 4:10)  Judas Quit (Matt. 26:14-16; 49)  Many Disciples (John 6:66) Lord’s Attitude Toward Quitters But Jesus said to him, "No one, having put his hand to the plow, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God" (Luke 9:62).

7. Moses Didn’t Quit! Steady, Constant Leadership Through Trials:  Some Upset With His Leadership (Exod. 5:21)  Wanted To Return to Egypt (Exod. 14:11-12)  Aaron & Miriam Jealous of Him (Num. 12)  Korah’s Rebellion (Num. 16)  People’s Idolatry (Exod. 32) Through It All, He Still Kept Going!

8. Never, Ever Give Up! Trying To Improve In Your Service:  Learning the Scriptures (2 Tim. 2:15; Matt. 28:19-20)  Leading in Worship: Songs, Prayers, etc. (1 Cor. 14:26)  A Good Marriage (1 Pet. 3:3-7)  Raising Godly Children (Eph. 6:4)  Living Faithful Christian Life (Gal. 6:9-10; Matt. 5:16) Through It All, Keep Going!!!
