If you don’t apologize, she will never trust you again. If clause: Present Simple Main clause: Future Simple Conditional type 1: possible situation in present or future.

4 If I had a lot of money, I would buy a big house.
Conditional Type 2: Jack wants to buy a house now but he can’t, because he doesn’t have any money. If I had a lot of money, I would buy a big house.

5 If I knew his number, I would phone him.
Conditional Type 2: Susan wants to phone Paul now but she can’t, because she doesn’t know his number. If I knew his number, I would phone him.

6 Impossible situation in the present or fututre.
Conditional Type 2: If I had a lot of money, I would buy a big house. If I knew his number, I would phone him. if-clause: Past Simple main clause: would + infinitive Conditional Type 2: Impossible situation in the present or fututre.

7 Present wish: Now let’s answer these questions:
1- What does Jack wish now? 2- What does Susan wish now?

8 Present wish: Jack wishes he had a lot of money.
Susan wishes she knew Paul’s number. wish + Subject + Past Simple

9 If I had had a lot of money, I would have bought a big house.
Conditional Type 3: Jack wanted to buy a house last year but he couldn’t do that because he didn’t have any money. If I had had a lot of money, I would have bought a big house.

10 If I had known his number, I would have phoned him.
Conditional Type 3: Yesterday, Susan wanted to phone Paul but she couldn’t, because she didn’t know his number. If I had known his number, I would have phoned him.

Conditional Type 3: If I had had a lot of money, I would have bought a big house. If I had known his number, I would have phoned him. if-clause: Past Perfect main clause: would + have + past participle Conditional Type 3: Impossible situation in the past

12 Past Wish: Now let’s answer these questions:
1- What did Jack wish last year? 2- What did Susan wish yesterday?

13 Past Wish: Jack wished he had had a lot of money.
Susan wished she had known Paul’s number. Wish + Subject + Past perfect
