Modify course offerings: – Students in the surveying technology program require more laboratory time in the CADD II course to develop skills. – Drop FTC 224 (1), Modify FTC 259 (from 2 to 3) – No change in program outcomes or credits CoC recommends adoption

Actions: New/Revised Programs Modify Sustainable Construction Management MPS – Provide better and eliminate confusion – Consolidate course listings for MPS Practicum and MPS Synthesis in the Construction Management option and Sustainable Construction option. – Dropped 3 SCME courses due to inactivity – No change to outcomes or credits CoC recommends adoption

20. Actions: New/Revised Policy At least six (6) credit hours of the coursework used to satisfy an ESF- administered minor must be from ESF-registered courses taken while the student is matriculated at ESF. Background and Rationale: A minor could be satisfied using solely transfer credits. This approach is contradictory to the intent of ESF-administered minors. Students who receive an ESF-administered minor have taken a substantive number of ESF-registered credits, while providing flexibility to transfer coursework. “ESF-registered courses” means those courses for which a SUNY ESF student could register through the campus registration system, including but not limited to ESF, Syracuse University and Upstate Medical University. Similar to two of the current requirements for graduation: – Matriculated status as an undergraduate student; – At least 24 of the last 30 credits must be registered for through ESF CoC is proposing to adopt this policy statement effective AY 15-16.
