Global Standard of Excellence Under the Management Trainee Programme, you choose the function that best suits your strengths, and the program structures your development around aclearly defined set of objectives. Throughout the 2 years, you will gain support and encouragement from 3 sources: Your coach will be your line manager, who will work with you to ensure that you are reaching the standards expected from the programme Your mentor will be an experienced senior manager from another function, who will share the benefit of his or her expertise. Other management trainees around the world who will provide you with an invaluable network of contacts.

5. Management Trainee Programme Structured learning and Development The MT Programme is structured around the following components: Induction: gives the MT a clear overview of the different functions and introduces them to the key business stakeholders Functional Development: the MT develops a base of excellence in the function into which they have been recruited through on-the-job activities & formal training Project Management: by participating in company projects, the MT will have an opportunity to develop Leadership Skills and be able to build their confidence through delivering results as part of a team Business Awareness: With cross-functional and cross-market assignments, the MT will gain an understanding of the overall business Leadership Development: Leadership development is delivered through both on-the-job development and formal management training Performance Appraisal: To ensure that the defined standard is achieved and maintained, constructive feedback is given regularly and Management Trainees’ performance is reviewed at quarterly intervals
