Why are projects important? It gives the opportunity to let pupils be creative,express themselves freely and use English authentically.

Projects: Are a means to build vocabulary skills and reinforce the ones they have Are a tool to motivate pupils to use English with a purpose

Include all four domains of language learning. Offer the pupils the chance for decision-making in open- ended activities. Are excellent tools for heterogeneous classes.

Project- choose topic Apply backward design Identify goals and match to topic Identify enabling skills Set evaluation criteria with pupils Set time frame

How To Present Project Work In Class The pupils must know : 1)What the topic will be 2)What their choices are. 3)What is expected of them. 4)Deadline and rubrics.

Rubrics * Write out clear instructions. *Set clear scores for each part of the project.

Time Frame Set dates for handing-in a “sloppy copy” Help pupils revise their work Show pupils how to match content requirements to criteria for evaluation Pupils hand-in “polished product”: written presentation * Pupils present their work to the class
