Q: What is a Roadrunner? A: A roadrunner is a type of bird or cuckoo, but it is unlike many other types of cuckoos. It is not a nest parasite. It builds its nest in thorn bushes or a cactus cup-like.

A: A roadrunner or Ground cuckoo has a crest on its head. It has a tail that is long and narrow, that helps it with turning quickly when running.

A: A roadrunner eats fruit and small animals, including small lizards. It also eats scorpions, spiders, insects, eggs, small snakes, and some small rodents.

A: A roadrunner is a bird that lives in thorny scrub, sparse grasslands, and deserts of Mexico and the southwestern USA.

A: Creatures that will eat roadrunners are the coyote, Golden Eagle, Great Horned owl, and big rattlesnakes. Also, automobiles will kill roadrunners too.

Fun Facts A roadrunner can run at speeds up to fifteen miles per hour . A roadrunner is about twenty-three inches . Roadrunners make rattling and females are similar in appearance.
