Depends on What You KNOW

6. Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth
Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Psalm 100:1-2

7. Know that the Lord is God. Psalm 100:3a

8. Creaturehood: You Are NOT a Self-Made Person

9. It is he who made us, and we are his… Psalm 100 b

10. You may say to yourself, “My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.” Deuteronomy 8:17

11. The Reason We Worship is DEPENDENCE…

12. Care: You Don’t Have to Look Out for NUMBER ONE !

13. …we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
Psalm 100:3c

14. He led you through the vast and dreadful wilderness, that thirsty and waterless land, with its venomous snakes and scorpions. He brought you water out of hard rock. He gave you manna to eat in the wilderness, something your ancestors had never known, to humble and test you so that in the end it might go well with you. Deuteronomy 8:15-16

15. The Reason We Worship is God Has Our BACK!!

16. Covenant: You Are INCLUDED…

17. For the Lord is good and his love endures forever… Psalm 100:6a

18. But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today. Deuteronomy 8:18

19. The Reason We Worship is God Has SWORN Himself to Us

20. Continuity: You Are REMEMBERED!

21. …his faithfulness continues through all generations. Psalm 100:6b

22. Be careful that you do not forget the Lord your God, failing to observe his commands, his laws and his decrees that I am giving you this day. Otherwise, when you eat and are satisfied, when you build fine houses and settle down,

23. and when your herds and flocks grow large and your silver and gold increase and all you have is multiplied, then your heart will become proud and you will forget the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery. Deuteronomy 8:11-14

Because We LEAK…!
