Passchendaele Also known as the 3rd battle Ypres An attempt to back Belgium sea ports from the Germans Main attack was to go over the low laying areas – subject to flooding

Passchendaele British Offensive, ordered by General Haig Sent the Canadians in – hoping for similar success to that of Vimy General Currie predicted it would cost us 16,000 men - didn’t think it was worth it!
