Session Outline In this session we will cover how to: Create job opening for an advertised position Shortlist applicants online Prepare a job offer Create job opening and prepare a job offer for a direct hire (non-advertised) including unpaid appointments Overview of the new Onboarding as new hire and manager or delegate

HR Information System Upgrade – eRecruitment Create Job Opening for Advertised Position/s Step 1 From Recruitment home, click Create Job Opening Step 2 Enter the Position Number and review the pre- populated Job Details Step 3 Enter Job Posting (advertising) details and add the Hiring Team Step 4 Save as draft or Submit job opening for approval

HR Information System Upgrade – eRecruitment How to log into Recruitment Home: Log into the Staff Portal using your Griffith ID and Password Navigate to Recruitment Home via My Staff Page and choose Recruitment from the drop down list. Useful Tips: Click the symbol to view specific help text. The symbol * indicates a mandatory field

HR Information System Upgrade – eRecruitment Step 1: From Recruitment Home, click Create Job Opening From the Quick Links menu on the left hand side of your screen click Create Job Opening

HR Information System Upgrade – eRecruitment Step 2: Enter the Position Number Useful Tips: Use the look-up icon to search for your position number For Casual or Sessional jobs, enter Job Code (not Position Number)

HR Information System Upgrade – eRecruitment Review the pre-populated Job Details The details at the top of the screen will pre-populate based on the position number. The Job Opening ID will remain as NEW until you save or submit. The Status of your job opening will be Draft until you submit for approval.

HR Information System Upgrade – eRecruitment Step 3: Enter Job Posting (advertising) details The Posting Title is what the candidates will see when they view your advertisement The Short Web Description must be a maximum 150 characters.

HR Information System Upgrade – eRecruitment Step 4: Save as Draft or Submit job opening for approval Useful Tip: You can Save as Draft at any time to save your work. To find a saved job, via Recruitment Home, Quick Links select Search Job Openings and change the status to be Draft.
