The Need 1.Best estimates show that approximately 3800 agencies across the United States have implemented body-worn cameras. 2.Approximately 45 states have piloted or implemented a body-worn camera program. 3.Legislation is pending in approximately 37 states around the use of body-worn cameras. www.bja.gov/bwc ©2015
