3. Background / Font / color  Background color, text color, and font size are important tools that can improve your PowerPoint presentation.  1. Click on FORMAT at the top of the screen.  2. Click on BACKGROUND. The backgrounds box appears.  3. Click on the small down arrow.  4. Choose the color you want or click on “more colors” or “fill effects” for more choices.  5. Click on “APPLY” to add background to your slide.  6. Click on “APPLY TO ALL” if you want to add the background to all your slides.

5. Add in pictures  Nothing improves a presentation like the addition of pictures.  They help the listener to visualize what the presenter will be likely to say and enjoy while the presenter is giving his presentation.  To add in a picture select Insert > Picture > From File.
