3. New Terms: Independent Variable: Part of the experiment that you change. Dependent Variable: Outcome of the dependent variable Models: Used to help describe laws and theories Laws: Explain what will happen not why. Theories: Explain why things happen. These can be proven wrong.

4. Reflection: 1)Did we notice a relationship during the jump lab? 2)Could we come up with a theory or law based on the results of the lab? 3)What other independent variable could we have tested during the jump lab? Also, think of sub groups. 4)What were the major sources of error?
