What to do with a new tape? Label (Name, ClassId, Subject, Date) Record Speed (SP vs SLP) Date Stamp (Turn it off!) Lay Down Black (Beginning of tape only.) Padding (Before and after each scene)

Tripod The tripod is your friend Shot stability Move closer rather than zoom

Shot Composition –Don’t center all your shoots –Offset the subject –Use the intersections, lines and diagonals Rule of Thirds
